What is PechaKucha 20x20?

PechaKucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format where the presenter shows 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically as the presenter talks along with the images. PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps - just about anything, really - in the PechaKucha 20x20 format.

Watch Jerry Catania share his passion for glass art and Water Street Glassworks and the history of his vision to bring glass art to Benton Harbor.

Water Street Glassworks needs your support!

I'm sure you are aware of the important, multi-faceted role that Water Street Glassworks plays as an established anchor of the Benton Harbor Arts District. Our Fired Up! after-school teen glass program offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for youth to develop creatively, personally and learn valuable business skills and is offered tuition free to all students. Our general education program offers classes in the many different techniques of glass and metal art and draws students and faculty from all over the great lake region to experience Water Street Glassworks and beautiful Southwest Michigan. Our public access studio program offers access to artists who can't afford the luxury of running a glass or metal studio of their own and allows them to expand their skills in a supportive and collaborative community. Water Street Glassworks also attracts thousands of students & visitors to Southwest Michigan to enjoy the wonders of medium and to explore the surrounding community.

Our glass and metal art school is supported largely by the support of generous donors who contribute to our annual capital campaign. This support will allow Water Street Glassworks to continue providing excellence in education and community programming. The continued support of generous donors like you, will keep the flames in the furnaces burning.

Water Street Glassworks is a Michigan 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible.

Please call (269) 925-5555 for more information or to donate today.
