Glassblowing 2 - October 12 & 13

Building on the foundational skills and techniques you've acquired in Glassblowing 1, this course is designed to take your glassblowing abilities to the next level. You’ll start by refining your control over basic shapes, a crucial step in developing consistency in your work. Through guided instruction, you'll enhance your ability to manipulate molten glass, learning to achieve various shapes.

This course will introduce you to the exciting world of color application. You’ll explore various methods to add color to your glass pieces and learn how different colors interact with each other.

You will not only expand your technical skills, but this course will also encourage you to start thinking creatively about how shape and color work together to enhance the overall aesthetic of your pieces. By the end of the course, you'll have a grasp of more advanced glassblowing techniques and a new set of tools to express your artistic vision in glass.

Prerequisite: Glassblowing 1. All materials provided.
