Goblet making is often considered one of the most challenging aspects of glassmaking, but does it really have to be?

In this comprehensive class, we'll break down the process of goblet construction, starting with the basics. You'll be introduced to techniques such as avolio’s/maurice, stemwork, using the footing tool/blown feet, “on the pipe” assembly, and assembly using a garage.

The class will include a combination of demonstrations and hands-on practice. Students will first observe and assist in demonstrations led by our experienced instructor, then have ample time to apply what they've learned. You'll work on each technique step-by-step, building your skills and confidence as you progress.

This class is designed to demystify the complexities of goblet making, offering you the tools and knowledge needed to tackle this intricate art form with success. This course provides a thorough foundation in goblet techniques.
