Thursday, December 5th (6-8pm)
Instructor: Tina Tavolacci
Students will cut interesting copper shapes, anneal them, add dried plants or other materials to them and pass through a rolling mill which imprints the texture into the copper essentially creating a copper fossil. You will then turn your pieces into interesting jewelry components for a pendant or earrings. Dried flowers will be provided but bring your own if you would like to personalize your pieces.
Note: Photos are from Tina's personal collection and she mounts her imprinted pieces on enamel. Students will be creating the copper components only.
No experience required. All materials provided.
