Join Us - Volunteer Opportunities at Water Street Glassworks

Join Us!

Have you been to one of our events and thought "this is so much fun"! We always have opportunities for you to join us. Whether you volunteer at our events, help with the students at the Art Fair, join us on clean up days, or assist with our Fired Up! After School program, we deeply appreciate our volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are grateful for all the wonderful volunteers that help make our events, studios, and facilities successful! Join the fun and volunteer at Water Street Glassworks. Current opportunities include:

  • "Spark" Volunteer Program: Spark your creativity in our new volunteer program! WSG is pleased to announce "Spark," a new volunteer group dedicated to creating a line of handmade fused glass items which will be sold in the WSG Gallery. Starting with a winter holiday theme, the projects will include colorful ornaments and small functional items. Learn More >>

  • Cardea Bead Program: Volunteers are invited to the flameworking studio to make beads for cancer patients. The Cardea Bead program creates a tangible expression of their journey. WSG provides training and materials are provided at no cost to participants. Learn More >>

  • Events: We have several events throughout the year including Art Hops, Hot Glass Cold Beer, and the annual Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff. Greeters, sales, helping with refreshments... our volunteers contribute to the success of our events!

  • Facilities: We could always use a hand keeping our studios and gallery in tip top shape! We schedule regular "cleaning days" and could also use some help keeping our gallery shining!

  • Group Events and Tours:  Assist with group events including greeters, giving tours of the studios.

Do you have talents that could help us achieve our goals? We are always looking for people to take on projects that are on our list! Contact us to see how we can use your skills!
