We are excited to invite you to a special evening as we unveil our highly anticipated 2024 Glass Pumpkin Collection! Be among the first to "pick" from the patch, including a limited edition pumpkin created by our talented artists to commemorate WSG's 20th anniversary.

Proceeds from the evening support WSG programming. Help us celebrate 20 years of being an educational anchor in the Benton Harbor Arts District and offering the fire arts to the community.

The evening will feature:

  • Silent Auction: Bid on unique glass pieces, experiences, and exciting items.
  • Limited Edition Pumpkins: Don't miss out on the chance to be the first to own a limited edition pumpkin, crafted by our artists to celebrate WSG's 20th Anniversary!"
  • Glassblowing Demonstrations: Watch live glassblowing and see how "grow" these stunning pumpkins.
  • Refreshments: Enjoy light bites and beverages as you pick from the patch and mingle.

As a nonprofit organization, WSG relies on the support from our patrons, generous donors, and sponsors which enables us to make the "fire arts" accessible to everyone.

This year, WSG is thrilled to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Fired Up! Teen After School Program—an initiative that merges art-making with entrepreneurship.
Join our talented Fired Up! students as they exhibit their stunning creations, including blown glass, fused glass, and jewelry crafted from handmade flameworked glass beads. By purchasing these unique pieces, you not only support our dedicated students but also contribute to the program.
Together, we can make a difference in our community, inspire more young minds, and foster a brighter future through the power of art. Let's ignite creativity and support our youth!
FIRED UP! was launched in the Fall of 2004 as a tuition-free, after- school program for Benton Harbor teens and holds the distinction of being the third oldest youth glass program in the country. The inspiration for FIRED UP! came from American Glass Master Dale Chihuly’s Hilltop Project for youth in Tacoma Washington. The technical demands of glass make it the ideal vehicle for personal change. In FIRED UP! teens learn teamwork, focus, patience, and trust which in turn raises grades, fosters leadership skills, and instills a positive outlook on their future. FIRED UP!
