NEW! Wig Wag Technique: Advanced Glassblowing - Saturday, Feb 21

Saturday: February 21
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Instructor: Eli Zilke

Wig Wag Glass Technique

In this class, students will explore the wig wag technique, a classic decorative process known for its bold zigzag patterns. By layering contrasting colors of hot glass, students will learn how heat, rotation, and timing create movement within the glass.

Participants will practice twisting and stretching molten glass to control pattern direction and density as the form is blown. Emphasis is placed on color, symmetry, and precision, while embracing the natural variation that makes each wig wag piece unique.

Prerequisite: Glassblowing 3.
