NEW! Sculptural Stem Goblets
Dolphins, swans, and dragons—iconic forms rooted in the Venetian glassmaking tradition—take center stage in this sculptural stem goblet class. Rather than assembling complete goblets, students will focus specifically on stemwork, breaking each stem into manageable sections to better understand form, structure, and process.
Using detailed bitwork, students will sculpt intricate forms while also learning complementary techniques such as creating blown feet, avolios, and a variety of decorative connection elements. This class emphasizes precision, control, and thoughtful construction, providing students with the skills needed to elevate their sculptural and functional glasswork.
Prerequisite: Glassblowing 3. All materials provided focusing primarily on clear glass.
