Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: June 15, 16 & 17
10 am - 1:00 pm
Instructors: Jan Kimball (Visiting Artist)

Express yourself through color, pattern, and design in this immersive three-day mosaic camp! Led by visiting artist Jan Kimball, students will explore the fundamentals of mosaics while creating three unique, take-home projects.

Throughout the camp, students will learn essential techniques including cutting and arranging materials, working with adhesives, and developing thoughtful compositions. With guidance from an experienced teaching artist, students will experiment with color, texture, and layout while gaining confidence in their artistic voice.

Each project builds skills while encouraging creativity and personal expression:

  • Pocket Treasure Mosaic: Transform a small metal tin into a personalized, portable work of art—perfect for keeping special items or simply showcasing your design.

  • Mosaic Cube: Design a dimensional mosaic piece that can be displayed on a surface or hung as a sculptural element.

  • Mosaic Shadow Box: Create a meaningful mosaic on a pre-fired clay form, combining imagery and pattern to tell a story or capture inspiration.
